On November 30, 2022, in Dushanbe, according to the plan for conducting scientific and scientific-technical events of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan in 2022, the International Scientific Conference “Issues of conservation of glaciers and rational use of water resources in Central Asia” was held by the Center. 50 scientists and specialists from scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Russian Academy of Sciences and universities took part in the conference directly and virtually. At 4 scientific sessions of the conference, 17 scientific reports were heard and discussed.

On June 4, 2021, the Center with the participation of representatives of research institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National University of Tajikistan, the Central Asian Institute for Applied Geosciences (CAIAG, Bishkek) and the German Scientific Center for Geosciences (GFZ, Potsdam) held International online symposium on the topic “Water resources of Central Asia: formation, geoecology, sustainability in the face of climate change”.

On October 20, 2021, the Center held the International Scientific Conference "Development of the Silk Road, adaptation to climate change, ecology and environmental protection" online. The online conference was attended by scientists and specialists from specialized scientific organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, a number of universities in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Russia. Of the 33 reports submitted, 25 presentations were heard at the conference.

In order to implement the plans of scientific events approved by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2020 - conferences, symposiums and scientific seminars, on November 27, 2020, the Center held an international online video conference on the topic "The impact of climate change in the ecosystems of Central Asia".
