Study Outcomes
- N significantly increased aboveground biomass, confirming the primary limiting nutrient, while P enhanced productivity mainly when combined with N, especially at high elevations.
- Precipitation strengthened fertilization effects by increasing biomass and species richness but reduced community evenness.
- Temperature had little effect on biomass but strongly influenced biodiversity patterns.
- Overall, moderate and climate-adaptive N and N+P management is essential to improve productivity while maintaining ecosystem resilience.
